Untrained Skill Checks and Charisma

After trying to figure out a good way to make untrained skill checks actually feel more difficult, I’m trying out the following rules:

Whenever you make an untrained skill check, roll 3d6 and discard the highest dice.

I’m also introducing a Charisma characteristic

Starting | Heroic | Veteran | Epic
Human 2 4 6 8
Gobber 3 5 7 10
Nyss 1 3 5 7
Iosan 1 3 5 7
Ogrun 2 4 6 8
Trollkin 2 4 6 8

Everyone starts with their races starting value for Charisma. You can’t buy Charisma like you can buy other stat increases. Instead, as you buy more social skills, your Charisma skill increases, until you reach the max for the tier you’re at. Any extra social skills acquired in a tier you’ve already maxed have no further effect on increasing your Charisma stat. Once you reach the next tier, you’ll need to buy more social skills to further increase your Charisma stat.
